Die Diagnostik im Rahmen der Visceralchirurgie werden folgende Untersuchungen vorgenommen:
- Ultrasonography of the abdominal organs and the thyroid gland
- Gastroscopy (gastroscopy)
- Rectoscopy

Endoscopic interventions such as Tissue extraction for fine tissue examination, removal of polyps or hemostasis can be carried out.
In the vascular lab we carry out following tests:
- Color flow ultrasound imaging of Carotid arteries
- Color flow ultrasound imaging of Abdominal vessels (Aorta, cava and iliac vessels)
- Color flow ultrasound imaging of Leg arteries
- Color flow ultrasound imaging of Arm vessels
- Color flow ultrasound imaging of Leg veins ( Diagnosis and follow up of varicose and thrombosis)
- cw-Doppler with perfusion pressure determination
